Mark has been a physiotherapist since 1996
when he gained his BSc (Hons) from Brunel University in London and
became a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists. During
his time in the capital he worked for the NHS at Northwick Park Hospital,
where he became a senior therapist, and then at the Royal National
Orthopaedic Hospital, where he worked with some of the top specialists
in the country. He also practiced within the private sector and was
involved with projects for the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society
and the National Osteoporosis Society. Upon returning to Leicester
Mark maintained his involvement in private practice by working with
a number of semi-professional rugby clubs, whilst continuing full time
within the NHS, taking up the post of senior physiotherapist in Sports
Medicine and developing a specialist interest in leg injuries. In 2003
he left this position to set up Body Works with his wife Theresa. Email
