Expert Assessment
From your first visit, you’ll feel the Body Works difference – professional, friendly, and focused entirely on you. We take time to listen, understand your concerns, and get to the heart of what’s limiting your movement or comfort at every appointment.
Your first appointment begins with a conversation about your symptoms, history, lifestyle, and goals. We’ll explain everything clearly, so you know exactly what to expect at each stage.
Your physiotherapist will carry out a thorough physical assessment – looking at how you move, your posture, strength, flexibility, and any specific areas of pain or restriction.
We don’t just focus on the site of pain; we look at your whole body to identify why the problem has developed and how to prevent it from returning.
Please allow between 45 minutes for your first appointment to ensure we have ample time to understand and diagnose your condition and start treatment.
Tailored Treatment
Based on your assessment, we’ll create a personalised treatment plan with you, this may include:
- Hands-on techniques such as joint mobilisation or soft tissue release
- Individualised exercise rehabilitation
- Pilates-based movement and strengthening programmes
- Postural or ergonomic advice
- Acupuncture or adjunct therapies when appropriate
Every technique we use is designed to help you move better, recover faster, and build long-term resilience.
Support & Guidance
We believe great physiotherapy goes beyond the treatment room. We aim to complement your treatment with simple, achievable steps to continue progress at home.
Whether you’re preparing for surgery, managing a long-term condition, or working towards peak performance, we’ll be by your side every step of the way – helping you restore, rebuild, and strengthen.
